Hannibal Clinic’s Research Center is currently enrolling patients in their COVID-19 outpatient treatment research trial. Hannibal Clinic is one of only two Missouri sites chosen by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to participate in ACTIV-2. The ACTIV-2 study is part of Operation Warp Speed, a public-private partnership created to fight the COVID-19 virus and gauge the effectiveness of different drugs in treating COVID-19 in outpatients. Its goals are to accelerate the development, manufacturing, and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics.
Primary Investigator Humam Farah, MD, Director, Hannibal Clinic Research Center, and his team continue to help our community in the fight against COVID-19.
