Physician Bio

Since medical school, Cardiology has intrigued me, but my fascination with the subject took off when I was a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Louisville in the division of Cardiovascular disease.

My primary goal is preventive cardiology, which means lowering patients’ risk for developing heart disease and having a first heart attack or stroke while also preventing further issues in people who already have cardiovascular disease.

My interventional cardiology training exposed me to numerous cutting-edge technologies and procedures. Some of these procedures include cardiac catheterization, minimally invasive transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), closure of holes in the heart, aspirate blood clots from the heart and lungs, and to treat peripheral arterial disease with balloons and stents.

My goal is to promote the prevention of cardiovascular disease, advocate for the preservation of cardiovascular health, and use high-quality, evidence-based medicine to treat my patients.
